At Harveys we are proud to support our wonderful British Cheesemakers and our superb local producers of cheese, honey, and chutneys.

We aim to stock primarily British cheeses with the occasional Continental cousin available because who doesn't love a nutty & sweet piece of Comte, right? We also understand that smoked & flavoured cheeses can be a tricky cheese subject, and that is why at Harveys we only stock traditionally smoked cheeses over chippings for the fullest flavour, no smoke & mirrors! The flavoured cheeses we stock come from a selection of cheesemakers Jonathan knows and has an ongoing relationship with to ensure the highest quality.

We use our expertise to bring a wide selection of cheeses from traditional classics that you love to exciting newcomers so that you can try something different each time you shop with us.

Jonathan Broomfield our Cheese Expert has over 18 years' experience selling cheese and has a gained a wealth of knowledge over this time. He has a passion for cheese & for supporting the wider cheese community which you can follow at jonathanbroomfield.uk.

He has travelled the country meeting cheesemakers, judging at cheese shows, hosting cheese & wine talks, as well as professionally pairing cheese for companies. He was recently recognised by the International Cheese & Dairy Awards for his passion with cheese and has the honour of being the UK ambassador for the show.

Jonathan imparts his knowledge to us all at Harveys to provide our customers with excellent cheese and service.
